Center for Legal and Psychological trafficking victimsTrafficking and missing persons is a serious problem in Peru, which affects girls, children, teenagers, men and young women in poor districts and peripherals. In Peru there are data and indications of the existence of various forms of internal trafficking, sexual exploitation, labor and begging. Especially vulnerable are girls and young women from the highlands and jungle areas, who are picked up by traffickers for sexual and labor exploitation. In this context, it is necessary to have protective services, counseling and rehabilitation of victims and vulnerable people, creating specialized referral centers where victims can find legal and psychological counseling in an atmosphere of confidentiality. That's why CHS is implementing Alternative Care Center for Legal and Psychological trafficking victims and relatives of missing persons, directly and freely where we attend to this population, we promote the strengthening of the capacities of public and private entities (DEMUNA CEM, Municipalities, PNP, MINSA, UGEL, etc..) implement strategies to raise awareness and information with the North Lima citizenship and encourage inter-agency alliances for a more comprehensive and timely care. |
